it would help if he could keep from picking up the very early and quick stupid fouls too...

i'm sure other teams game plan for it, and certainly try to draw the refs attention to it, but when he's been able to avoid it he has had his best games...

Then I disagree. He should try moving his feet instead of his hands and not pick up those cheap early fouls. Don't do it and you won't get whistled.

You're halfway right, I did say that he can play a lot better than he has, he has more explosiveness in his feet and legs so he has the ability to do so, but i also believe that a finger on the leg when a player is driving to the basket is a cheap foul that shouldnt be called by the referee.. so i halfway disagree with you

This is exactly the kind of polish and experience that players (especially big men) develop with age. That's what Chism needs, because the frontcourt does not look particularly deep with Crews out of the mix.

philip jurick (sp), negedu, with brian williams back. and woolridge(though maybe not a 'big') doesnt look too bad to me. just my opinion... almost forgot ryan childress, coming back from surgery.

yea im really excited about our big guards we'll have though, i think that will take some pressure of our bigs because these guys (Tatum, Prince, Hopson) can rebound and defend near the basket and you throw the big wings in there that can play inside (Negedu, Woolridge) and that gives us a total of 4 completely new guys who can defend outside and inside

scotty looks good, i just didnt expect him to be so skinny in person... and i've said it somewhere else, woolridge is in tip top shape, dude is ripped. and i think negedu may have to catch up mentally, but he's gonna be beasting some folks...

Is Reynaldo and Hopson rooming together ??

btw, Wooldrige looks extremely athletic

He has the potential to be flat out great, he has a lot to work on but youre right he is EXTREMELY athletic.. i just keep getting chills when i think about our 2010-2011 roster..

PG - West
SG - Tatum
SF - Woolridge
PF - Hall
C - Williams

Scott is not committed. Negedu will still be around and I don't think Selby is coming to UT to sit on the bench.
