When Brian Williams works on his ball handling and is better conditioned he will be SO good.

All right, dickens ... I have to say B-dub played very well tonight and looks much better than he did in the Rocky Top Summer League. I'm pretty impressed and excited about his prospects.

But you need to calm down on this B-dub "man-love" ... it's a little scary and is getting out of hand :p J/k :)

You have no idea how excited I am to have a true post presence.

His free throw shooting was beautiful!

I was cheering every time we made a free throw like we had won the game. I'm sure the people around me thought something was wrong with me...

I was SO amazed by Tatum. FIRST shot of the game for him (and his college career) and it was a MONEY three.

Ok, we looked pretty good tonight against a not so good team.

My take: I was surprised with Childress' numbers because he didn't look that good to me tonight. I kept thinking if this was an SEC game, he would be getting eat up. He really didn't look good inside. And I am a big Chill fan. It's one game though.

We scored over 100 and Screech can't get 2. I really think he won't get much playing time at all especially if C Lo runs the point some during the games.

T. Smith will be the difference that will take us from 16 to final 4. Big time Stud.

Ramar didn't do too much tonight, but he didn't have to.

C Lo played exactly like he did in last years exhibition games. He is the most unselfish player that I have ever seen. He'll turn it on in 7 days.

Tabb hit a lot of 3's, but they were all open shots. I kind of wonder what percentage he would have with someone on him. I like Tabb and I hope his outside game really improves, because we will really need him next year without signing a shooting guard this year.

S. Pearl played alot and he will probably play a lot Monday but that will be it for the rest of the year. He actually might be a decent player in a year or two.

JuJuan played well.

Brian W. was a stud inside, but he was set up to look good tonight. The other team had no inside presence what so ever. He does seem to have good hands and moves well. The first time he came out he really looked winded. But this was his first big time game. I thought he found some open players really well after rebounding the ball. He will play alot this year and I really think he could be a force to deal with as he developes in a year or two. Don't be surprised if he looks like a Freshman against Xavier's 7 footer.

I actually thought there is no way Tatum plays this year after seeing him in the RTL. He was spectacular tonight though. Really fun to watch and put on a show. With all the players that we have this year, I actually think he could be redshirted and we not miss him. Won't happen though.

I honestly don't know how Pearl is going to deal with all the players he has. All deserve playing time. A good problem to have.

Most all should get playing time, don't worry :) With the horses Pearl has this year, he can sub in, sub out, sub in, sub out the entire 40 minutes and run opposing teams to death. Plus, I think we'll see much less of the mid to late-season fade we saw the prior two seasons because of the amazing depth we have this year. For that same reason, I like our chances much better in the 2008 SEC tourney.

Any team we play without substantial depth on their bench is going to get brutally exposed by Tennessee this year. I can't wait!

Yeah, I think having that depth is going to make a huge difference this year. Not only does Tennessee have the depth, but they're good players too.

Weren't we suppose to get those video boards that are in between the two benches like in the NCAA tournament last year?

Apparently we still have a contract with the other people and didn't want to buy it out, so we are using the old scorers tables for this year and changing to the video scorers tables next year.

thanks for the pictures and analysis! exciting to say the least. with that many ballers on the team, the sky is the limit. and, we were a fun exciting team to watch last year, without some of the names we have now. i agree that C Lofton is going to have alot of say in our success this year. when i first saw BP on ESPN All Access, i told the misses, "this guy is going to make some noise at UT." now its happening. good stuff.
