Right now I think Hopson may come off the bench unless he learns to pay defense. Just because he was a McD's all-american doesn't mean he will start as a freshman. Tabb is a better defender and is working on the O. Tatum has the O and has been part of the system for a year. I wouldn't mind having Hopson come off the bench for the offensive spark he would provide.
Was anyone aware that Wooldridge is part of a rap lable?
He has his own songs on myspace

Tabb needs to get more time this year, as long as he's improved his offense a little bit.

I have stated since March, Prince will be in the starting line up next year. Who he sits down is the question, but my opinion is, he is the second best athlete on the team. Tyler has an edge on him, but J.P. is good. I don't think we have saw him at his best yet, only hints. When he gets settled and comfortable, Prince and Smith will be the best two players in the SEC.
How would this look
1. Maze/ West
2. Hopson/ Tatum
3. Prince/ Tabb
4. Smith/ Chism
5. Williams/ Woolridge or Negedu
With the way Pearl rotates starting is not really that important, but Brian "the neigborhood" Williams impressd me Monday night. He has worked on his game. he is a natural center where Chism is not. Rotating Chism out at his natural position and playing with a true center could really help our game.
Just imagine if Lofton had redshirted last year the team we would have...

So you don't want Chism at C because he is a natural 4? But you want Woolridge, who is a natural 3, or Negedu who is a 3/4 tweener to play C? That doesn't make much sense to me.I have stated since March, Prince will be in the starting line up next year. Why couldn't Prince be that scorer off of the bench like he was last year?Cam Tatum would be a tremendous offensive spark off the bench a la JaJuan Smith of 05-06. He's got the ability to be a starter, but the way CBP likes to rotate, there needs to be a scorer on that second unit.

And the second string is going to be much more capable of scoring points than the second string last year.
That's a good point and I see what you are getting at. I just think it would be more beneficial to have a shooter out on the wing and hopefully keep the D honest while everyone else is slashing to the basket. It would be nice to have another shooter on this team. That is one thing it is really lacking.I just see Tatum as a guy who can come in and keep the defense honest with his outside shot as well as slashing to the basket. He has the ability to score in ways that nobody else on our bench can. I think he'll play about as much as Hopson and Prince, but the ability to bring a potentially high volume scorer off the bench would be a huge advantage.
