Anybody else watching Baylor in the state championship? That running back looks really good. Not too impressed with the big offensive lineman we’re getting. They’re playing him in the middle of the defensive line and every play it seems like he stands up and gets moved backward. Also playing left tackle on O and haven’t really seen him hit anybody yet. Seems pretty passive.

Osenda needs some seasoning but he's gonna be good

That RB is David Georges
He's a 5 star RB for the 2027 class.
So he absolutely should look good

We've heard lots about Baylor's Georges, & he's the real deal. Also impressed by BA's RB (don't know the name, but he's #2). Excellent game under difficult weather.

DGG is a man amongst boys in HSFB. I hope they have a bag big enough to get him in 27.

I was just reading in the War Room/Hubbs saying how much he liked Osenda's skill set and how easy he is to work with. He's also actively recruiting DGG so Heupfully he is able to push him over the top for the good guys.

So osenda is not that good? I thought he was a 5 star. I was hoping he would be our next “sanders” for the coming year. Hope he isn’t another Brian grant for the next 4 years.

Grant is working on an Oscar doe his lay down lineman act on extra points.

Osenda is way over rated by 247. Look at the other services.

Peyton manning's son attends Baylor, too. So maybe many potential vols coming from there.

Two points I was going to make about Baylor school as well.

Marshall Manning is QB there, so keep an eye out for sure - if we consistently land his team mates the next few years, we have a higher than average chance of getting Marshal, provided he didn't fall too far from the tree and we want him.

I wondered as much about Osenda too. I've seen with other recruits where 247 factors in potential more than other services. I've seen times where a guy is a high 4 or 5 star on 247, but like a high 3 or 4 on the rest.

Don’t make too much of his defensive issues. He’s not a DL. Also a big guy like that playing both ways is physically a challenge. He’ll get tougher over the next couple years at college. One thing he has that every school wants is size.

I watched the game - from the stands in a cold rain for three hours. Brrrr…

David Gabriel Georges aka DGG is the Baylor running back. He’s a stud. Last night was not his best game, but he still ran 20 times for 150 or something like that, in miserable conditions. He ran all over McCallie this year and they’re pretty good. He looked like a man among boys in those 2 McCallie games.
The Brentwood Academy running back was Larry Sanders and he looked better than DGG really.
The Baylor lineman is a physical specimen. Very long arms. I’m not sure he controlled BA’s defensive lineman last night, but hopefully he’ll be great in college with some coaching.
The Baylor WR had some drops, like some others WRs last night, but again the conditions were terrible.

On3 says Gabe had offers from UGA, OSU, Ole Miss and who's who. lots of teams offering Gabe.

Gabe is from Canada, DGG is from Canada. Those guys and Joekim are tight. DGG is big on relationships acc to AP.

GO is a heckuva player. As per usual criticisms of tennessee football. what is his competition like? Put GO in a school like Lovejoy or Atlanta Christian and id not question the 5 star.

Ill add that regardless, you can't coach 6'8" 300. Dude can move people. Coaches think he is quick enough on feet to play T.

Now, whatever you have to do. you get this guy.. best tennessee rb since GR Jr out of Redbank, imo.

i dont know football as well as some, but I may even say he's the most college ready since...... sigh.... Jamal.

Just for men and Hartline personally came down from Columbus to meet with DGG in person. Kid could play college ball. right now.

There is a vast area of ability between Sanders and Grant. Osenda will likely fall somewhere in that area.

Yeah he still has to develop mentally and physically. Even D Sanders made plenty of mental mistakes and he is beyond ready physically. Being Healthy so he can practice and real reps is about the only way to make a big improvement. I hope GO comes in ready to work on both.

I’m trying desperately not to get my hopes up on him ending up in ktown. He looks like the real deal.
