Ruby Rose is pretty darn attractive. Though her whole “I’m not a gender” schtick pretty much ruins her.

Just amazes me how many comic shows there are these days.

As a kid all I wanted was Spider-Man movie. Felt lucky to have the Batman, Spider-Man and X-Men cartoons. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would get an Infinity Gauntlet movie and now ancillary characters like Bat Woman.

I would have thought the trend would die out but it seems to be growing. DC has the Arrowverse still going plus Krypton and the new Alfred show. And Marvel has the Disney + shows and more Hulu shows on the way, and Agents of Shield has at least one more season.

I can’t keep up with it all. Was going to do a trial of DC Universe to watch Swamp Thing but hearing it was already cancelled made me hesitate.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

So after hearing everything about the show over the last couple of months I was a bit reluctant to watch. However last night I did watch the "Pilot" and was surprised at how good it was.

I know networks go all out for "Pilot" episodes but this didn't feel like a CW showat all and a few times it reminded me of "Gotham". It didn't overwhelm you with the "wokeness" or "political correctness" like say "Supergirl" has done the last couple of seasons or the "Pilot" episode of the "Charmed" reboot.

Let's see how next weeks episode does (in regards to that) but as of the first episode I recommend at least checking it out. There was also a suprising twist at the end as well.

They are re-airing the "Pilot" tonight after The Flash season premier if anyone wants to give it a try.

I said pretty much the same thing to my wife when we were watching Endgame. "This is all I ever wanted as a 12 YO and technology couldn't give us anything watchable back then."

One thing I forgot to mention that during last night's episode Robin's name was dropped. The first mention of the Boy Wonder in the Arrowverse.

The show has been using Rachel Maddow (in voice only (so for) as talk radio host Vesper Fairchild) While talking about the explosion on the bridge she says something about Batman not being there and then saying something like "Was there a Cowl convention I don't know about or was it Robin's High School Graduation?"

Down the road could we see a Dick Grayson, Jason Todd or Tim Drake? Robin, Nightwing or Red Hood? I'd also like to see Barbra Gordon.

So for I'm really liking this show as so for its not beating you over the head that she's a lesbian or any of the social justice stuff the way Supergirl seems to do every other episode.

Another solid episode last night.

First appearance of Tommy Elliott (who knows Bruce Wayne is Batman) also first mention of the Riddler.

Kate also gets her verison of the Bat suit and red wig.

Is she a lezbo on the show
She is Lesbian and that sticks with the character "Kate Kane" when she was introduced in the comics in 2006.

However the show hasn't forced that she is down your throat the way they have done say with characters on Supergirl.

I highly recommend it if anyone hasn't checked it out the first three episodes have been really good. IMO

It's better than I hoped it would be so far, with the reveal of her suit it looked like it was pulled straight from the comics. I don't mindthe les part because it's true to the character. I get upset when they just change characters up for the pc bullcrap. I mean with most of these you have 40-50 years of development stop screwing with my childhood because of an agenda. I don't mind change but change just for the heck of it drives me crazy
