i never could never fully get into this series for whatever reason. the multiplayer is fun for awhile, but CoD is still better IMO.

Battlefield 1942 is still the best one. My friends and I will still play it every once in awhile. It's rare for a game to be so perfectly balanced and fair.

In BF2, the jets were too powerful.

Only if you started out like MAG with 64 to 128 guys on each team.

That would be EPIC.

how is mag? im so sick of the cod spawn killers and campers that i don't even play it anymore. i used to love that game, but now i can't stand to play more than a couple of matches.

BF has fallen off since BF:Vietnam. 1942 is one of the best games ever made, no doubt.

Did anyone ever download the Desert Storm mod?? Star Wars mod?!

Geez, 3 (or more) years later and I'm still stuck on BF2. I loved 1942 as well but BF2 blows it away.

I love it, never thought it would make me put my PS3 controller down but until they finally come out w/ the next Gran Tourismo, I have.

I've tried CoD and other console games but just can't find anything that compares w/ BF2 on my pc...

Thanks for the post, this is the first I've heard of BFIII!
