Battlefield: BC2

I will play em but the damn smoke on every level is a pain. The chad, glancing and I played them when they came out. May be on tonight.

The BC2 Vietnam expansion looks like it could be sweet, though I wonder if it will function as an independent game or as a PC game style expansion pack.

I'm back on this one, can't get enough of it.

Looking forward to the Vietnam expansion. BF Vietnam was my favorite in the series only second to BF2

GET READY FOR A WHOLE NEW WAR
Skimming the treetops in the legendary Huey helicopter, Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" blasts through its loudspeakers. Down in the jungles and rice fields below, the enemy is waiting for a chance to take you down with their T54 tanks and RPG launchers. Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 just made the journey to a new place and time -- back to the 60's and the infamous Vietnam War.

Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 Vietnam is a content-heavy expansion for the game that has sold more than 5 million copies and has been called "a better game than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" by The New York Times.

At the heart of this expansion lie four distinct, brand-new multiplayer maps based on the Vietnam War. Each map brings a new gameplay experience and fresh visuals, with characteristics such as foxholes, tunnels and dense jungles from where the enemy can launch surprise attacks. Also, 15 classic Vietnam-era weapons and 6 vehicles are available from the moment you go online.

All four multiplayer game modes from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, including the genre-defining Conquest Mode, will be playable in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. The expansion is integrated with the full game persistence, so no matter what theatre of war you participate in, you will continue to level up your soldier as usual.

To set that unmistakable 60's atmosphere, the audio team at DICE has recorded all-new voice-overs for both sides of the conflict, based on authentic dialogue from the Vietnam War. On top of this, a rocking soundtrack with 2 hours worth of time typical tracks gives the expansion a truly characteristic sound.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is all-out multiplayer warfare at its absolute finest. With this new expansion, the battle moves to tropical Vietnam for a new chance to settle the score: Which team has the biggest skills, the smartest tactics, and the tightest squad play?

Sounding good, only a few months out.

How many folks on the server jason was saying other night that game servers run perfect since the release of Black Ops. There was 4 million on Black Ops last night just on Live shot is crazy.

It's been very good lately, the games have been alot better too, I think most of the jackass kids who dont understand the concept of the game moved on to COD, which works fine by me.

Me and Smokey did some damage tonight, all that was missing was pawnosaurus there to show us how to do things the right way

Vietnam is "December Sometime", and the Map pack is rumored to be coming out on the 22nd.

Also they are saying that there are going to be more map packs released in the future, as it will be over a year until BF3 comes out, with the Frostbite 2.0.

Here's a blurb on BF3, the article is aimed towards the PC version, which will be a little different than the console, mainly as far as number of players per game, I'd think.

I havent played in a while, especially since black ops came out. Might get back into it when the Vietnam pack comes out

I am not so good at black ops but only played MP like three times...I hate the fact everyone else has better guns in the beginning. Not knowing the maps sucks as well. If you guys are on send me and invite and see if playing w people I know helps.

You should get back on, I need to work on my C4 team killing, but I feel bad blowing smokey to smithereens.

I would, but right now COD is owning my gametime. I will get back into it once the Vietnam pack comes out more than likely

Battlefield Blog

Just some patch stuff as prep for the next Map Pack. Nice to see them fixing broken **** still, though.

Nothing fascinating or particularly game changing. Maps should be next week, Vietnam 12/21. TIFWIW.
