I think it would be cool for recon to have either a sniper mask or trench Mauser as a tool. Trench Mauser could set up/broken down like a mortar in bf4, sniper mask would decrease mobility and view. The game is maybe too fluid to use these much but on bigger maps you could probably stake out a good place to hide.

Like the demo but learned my lesson on BF4 launch issues. I'll wait for the Black Friday price drop and let you brave souls weather the bugs.

Ah. Similar to what they did the Gears. You got it early if you ordered the version with the DLC.

All these money grabs are going to kill gaming. Especially the pay to win stuff. /rant.

Honestly it's what keeps the prices stable for the rest of us. Some people have money and don't want to grind or wait. By all means take their money and make them happy. I choose not to spend money on that stuff. Most people don't. But that small group makes a lot of cash for the game developer. I have played World of Tanks and I can't even imagine how much that game rakes in. It's free to play but obviously people are spending hundreds or more buying premium tanks and equipment.

I don't mind aesthetic DLCs or having the option to pay more for an early release because I'm patient enough to wait 3 days, but those pay to win DLCs are the absolute worst. Along with first day DLCs that could have easily been in the game for everyone.

Can't wait for my copy to get here Friday. The EA Access Trial is unplayable because the time remaining screen pops up every 5 minutes.

Only positive I hope that comes from this money grab... This should give them a better feel on server load. I hate it when games release and immediately the servers are crashing due to overload.

Servers are great right now. Hopefully they continue to be when the standard version releases tomorrow

I am still leaning PC for BF1. I need keyboard and mouse. I know there are options for that on PS4, but it is just more $$$

I enjoyed the beta a bit, but it did feel an awful lot like Battlefront. After a few hours with the retail, I have completely changed my opinion of it. The visuals are epic, the time period (while I was hoping for WWII) is refreshing, bullet drop seems done right, and the hit detection is the best (right now) of any FPS I have played. Very happy with it right now. Only thing I am not really liking is the balancing with the Dreadnought and Zepplin. They seem to be very overpowering and unlike the Train (which can be a sitting duck for attacks) you can only really attack the Dreadnought by boat and the Zepplin by airplane or the couple of AA guns that are at some of the bases.

Never been able to use a keyboard and mouse in gaming. I haven't seen the PC version in person, but know a few who have it and the PS4 and while the PC version on ultra is definitely a little bit better looking, the PS4 version is very comparable.

I miss keyboard/mouse so much. Wish they'd come up with a suitable keyboard/mouse setup for consoles.

Bought this one and started playing this morning. It's a lot of fun, but being the first BF game I wish there was a little more of tutorial or instructional mission to lay out all the controls, cause I'm sure there's a ton of stuff I don't know. Most notably, how the eff to get a vehicle in multiplayer. All I've figured out how to do so far is spawn in the gunners seat of somebody else's tank.

Select the point that has a vehicle to the right of the marker and use the d pad to select which vehicle you want. If there isn't a vehicle icon showing on the main map there isn't a vehicle there to spawn into.
