Battlefield 4

I can swing the infantry controls, but the vehicle controls are whack! Holding "square" to get in/out has got to be the worst.

I got the hang of them after an hour. Outside of the changed spot button, they're pretty intuitive after an hour.

Yeah i played maybe 4 hours total. Didnt play bf3 for 2 weeks, soon as i did saturday night i was trying to spot with R2 and crouch with O. Kinda figure with the ps4 controller being bigger it may be harder to hit the select button while still having your left thumb on the stick. Like i said infy controls are fine, just the vehicle needs fixed imo

I am pretty excited for this on next gen. I knew nothing about the BF series then I loved BF3. I just don't want a let down.

I'm sure it'll be great. I think the issue is people want a BF3 clone, rather than letting the game evolve. Much like NHL where people kick and scream about changes without giving them a fair shake.

Question about making the change from BF4 on 360 to xbox one.

When I transition to bf4 xbox one will I get to keep all my progression I've made on bf4 360? Or will I have to start over?

I'm sure the current gen versions are pretty half assed compared to what next gen will be, but how is it?

I would consider picking it up but can't find the charging cable for my ps controller. Oh well, soon enough

Seriously considering this over Ghosts. Can I get a run down from you vets about the game?

For instance, what are the objective game types? How many players to a lobby? How are your classes set (do you get a primary, secondary, tacs, lethals exct)? How do people play in general, do they camp corners and kill whore or do they mostly strive to win the objective. How long do matches last?

Thanks in advance.

Please stay with COD, we don't need your kind screwing up the BF community

It's an objective based game, not that COD isn't, but it seems to have a more mature player base, whereas folks are *generally* more concerned with winning than stat padding.

There's 4 classes, each with a general role, medic/engineer/support/recon and you can customize quite a bit between those roles.

Games are variable length, depends really on the quality of the teams. An ass kicking will end faster than a closely fought match. And you really get a huge benefit to working with your squad, as opposed to lone wolfing it. A squad of mediocre players working together can be very effective, if they keep working as a team.

What are the game types? I've seen something about Commander but I know literally nothing about this game. I only played the beta from BF3.

What's my kind? I play S&D and Domination on COD and always go for the objective unless my team is pure ****, in which case I just do the best I can on a personal level.

COD is just ridiculous at times. The corner camping and spawn traps make me want to kill somebody.

That's another question, what are the spawns like?
