Me & bigdaddy ran some rush, game played very well, our team not so much.

At some point we need to get a squad of 4-5 and wreck ****

Playing tonight for the first time in months. Anyone thinking about playing after 10 or 11 central?

Well, I thought I would play some tonight for the first time in a long time. However, the game will not even load to the main menu for BF4... Is this a bug?

It worked fine for me this afternoon. Is your disk clean?I had a boot pproblem in the past and there was a miniscule smudge on it.

New DLC is coming out tuesday. Yay... Traded it in the other day. Headed straight to being the new cod. Sad that the bad company series was so good as was BF3, but just a huge fail from the get go with 4. They even changed the gameplay to be like bf3 just kept the bf4 animations. Shoulda held off a whole year and just brought bf3 over last year at release and bf4 should just be releasing this month.
I didn't play hardline beta but everyone seemed to enjoy it even though it's similar to COD. Guess we will find out in 4 months

I played a decent bit of BF4 this week, it's quite a good game now. If nothing else, its a solid shooter that can still hold my attention after a year, which says something.

In retrospect, I think the absolute coathanger abortion this game was for the better part of a year served as a lesson to publishers that its better to delay/cancel than send out something unplayable. Still amazed that DICE Stockholm stuck to their story that only a small %of players wwere having issues for months.

I do not like the way this series is going. BF4 is good now but after that blunder at launch and then this game, they will have to do something big to bring me back.

I'm the same way. Hardline is just a dumb concept, and I'm also not a fan of the plethora of gadgets and gizmos they've put into BF4.
Honestly, it wouldn't ruin my day if they went back to WW2 and simplified stuff a bit, but don't see it happening.

Id love to see them re do vietnam from bc2. Man I put so many hours in on that game. Thats what I was afraid of with hardline. Guess thats what happens when visceral does it.
Id be pretty interested in seeing what crytek could do with a military style shooting game with the cry engine. All their games especially crysis are pretty much flawless and hardly any problems. And they started the far cry series.
Regardless I dont think dice will do another battlefield game unless the side that does the bad company series decides to do another one. All their focus will be on battlefront

I would like to see something like Operation Flashpoint be done, or course it'd need to actually work, unlike operation flashpoint.

A shooter that is a good mix of tactical and strategy with a little button mashing worked in.

Wasnt there more than one? Think I played the first one. From waht I remember my squad would never go where I told them to and hit detection was horrid. Also the graphics were pretty bad
