Has anyone else ever gotten a notification when they start up BF3 that their profile is damaged and not useable?

It started for me yesterday. All my classes are unchanged. Everything I've unlocked is still there.

But now I have to change my settings like button config, sound settings, controller sensitivity, ect every time I start up bf3. Same with the settings for multiplayer map searches. It goes back to default with some maps automatically selected, certain game types selected, and server location.

Is that something you can do from the home menu or pressing the middle button?

I'm usually pretty cautious about when I shut it down. Although bf3 freezes my xbox on certain maps. Mainly Metro. I'll give it a shot.

Metro freezes mine too at the last base.

It's from the XBox home, under your Hard Drive. Go to BF3, click it, then look for user profile or something along those lines, it should be a smallish file, delete it, then re launch.

I found it, but will it delete my multiplayer unlocks also? All the guns, gadgets, vehicle perks, ect. I don't want to have to start over at level 1 with nothing unlocked.

I looked in the user profile area, but couldn't find anything where that stuff might be saved.

Your multiplayer unlocks are linked server side to your gamer tag.
