My lucky day! Got the email 20 min ago saying I was selected. I got 4!

From the email:
Here's what you need to know:

The $5 per ticket deposit you placed to enter the lottery will be applied toward your ticket purchase.

Your seats will be assigned at random. Seats will be assigned in the $80, $50 and $40 areas. Tennessee state sales tax will be added to the total ticket price.

You will be charged for the remaining balance along with a $15 shipping fee in the next two weeks (by Nov. 27, 2015).

The credit/debit card that you used to enter the lottery will be charged automatically for the remaining balance of your seats.

Exact seat locations will be sent prior to the April 2016 NASCAR Event Weekend (April 15-17).

Your tickets will be shipped in July 2016.

GBO!!!

Personally, I think the way they have allotted the tickets is complete BS & a cluster****...
Why not give season ticket holders a 2-3 month window to order their allotment and then put the rest up for sale. But they are including the Bristol raceway ticketholders(which is fine) and having a lottery etc. It's not the best way of going about it

Season ticket holders had until November 15, 2013 to make application; we made our reservation 10-14-2013..

What's the total # of tickets printed? Can you buy them at the gate? I would think when trying to set the record, they wouldn't ever cut it off. Have an area for standing room only somewhere in the infield. The facilities are huge, plenty of room for everybody. Can you tailgate in turn 2?

Go Vols!

Not real sure if you are aware but the infield is where the game is gonna be played . I do not think having standing room only there would be such a great idea.

The way I understood it from the sales office, they were allotted in the following order. Each one had a set period of time to order. Once all these deadlines passed, the remaining tickets were awarded by the lottery.

1. Each school was allotted a set # of tickets (not sure how many)
2. Bristol season ticket holders
3. Bristol single race ticket holders
4. Lottery

What I really don't like is, to my knowledge, nobody knows their seat locations yet.

The good news (not for some of you) is that it must be a sellout if rejection letters are being sent.

BTW, I got 4 as a Bristol single race ticket holder. Can't wait!! Go VOLS!!!

You will be able to get them cheaper if you are not picked. There will be a lot of tickets available leading up to and on game day and the prices on the street will go down as the game approaches.

I think I remember UT saying we sold out 40,000 allotment they were given during pre-sale back in 2013. I've got 4 from that. Supposed to find out seat location sometime in the spring.

Not sure where these lotto tix are located, but I was told my tix are guaranteed to be sideline seats behind the Vols according to my UT fund rep.
I can't wait!! I think the whole week leading to the game will be over the top!!
Bruton Smith will make this a spectical to remember!

Oh it's going to be a sell out, but what I'm worried about is that a lot of the Bristol ticket holders bought tickets to scalp them. Bristol doesn't care as long as they get their money but it does affect a lot of fans.

Got my e-mail, 4 for me! I always buy mine on street but was not sure how things will go in Bristol? I always say you could teach a economics class on the streets. It's all supply and demand.
