BMS race season ticket holders got options to purchase as many as they wanted to after the 80K that went to UT and VAT. My guess is that many of those people bought looking to make some money. I agree that there are going to be a lot of tickets available on the secondary markets for this game.
Nuh uh, there's no way. I distinctly remember multiple random posters declaring that it would struggle to break 100,000 because no one could see anything. So there no way this could be right.
Making a good profit is good, but think most of those people that are BMS ticket holders that are not interested in game and are gougers. Would have been a lot fair to offer more UT and VT fans that wanted to go to game instead of someone shafting. The year that I could not donate is the year that they decided to do the battle at Bristol... in my back yard. Luckily I live 15 minutes from track and was off work when they had public sale at BMS. I bought 4 tix for family and friends the week after we lost to UF again and fans had there chance. I sold a pair because I was offered better Tix at face from a friend of my wife and sold an extra pair for $200. I probably could have made more money but had my share of good breaks along the years with tickets as well.Better get them while they are cheap.
This Hype Train is picking up steam, prices can only go up.
Jump higher Vols.
You may not be joking but you are wrong...Constructed in 1960, it held its first NASCAR race on July 30, 1961. ..... In 1961, the track hosted a National Football League preseason game between the Philadelphia and the Washington Redskins...
Why would anyone buy season tickets to Bristol? Aren't there only 2 races.
4 actually, there is a race on Saturday too,it used to be called the Buch series,i'm not sure what it is now
and you had to buy tickets to both races to stay on the yearly list,to be able to keep them
of course I'm not sure how they do it any more
I did think if it is a sell out, that it would be over 165k instead of 150k,that number will probably change
