OK so i feel bad about going through so many batteries. Is the power pack for the 360 worth it? Is there a good place in Knoxville that recycles batteries? My dog ate my headset last night and I need to get a used one, any suggestions?

Oh yeah!!! I got one extra battery with the stand alone charge. I charge both batteries every night.

I'd suggest a decent set of rechargable AA batteries and charger. That way, you can swap out batteries in your remotes and controller whenever you need to.

I'm with DrRosenRosen. I use the energizer AA rechargables and they work great. I use them for remote, mouse, camera, mp3 player, etc.

As for the headset I believe you can buy a used one at EB Games for $10 or a new one for $20.

Smokey - Chin up there man. I have the battery charger you posted as well and have not had any problems with it. Received it for xmas. However, if I was buying right now, I'd just get regular batteries instead of some proprietary battery that can only be used in one device.
:good!:
