Okay, here are the top basketball programs and where they ranked in football.


1. Illinois #83 in football
2. Wake Forest #79 in football
3. North Carolina #49 in football
4. Kentucky #93 in football
5. Kansas #70 in football
6. Oklahoma State #33 in football
7. Boston College #24 in football
8. Duke #92 in football
9. Arizona #82 in football
10. Pittsburgh #27 in football

Except for Louisville, Utah, and Oklahoma, it just isn't happening in both sports here. Isn't this interesting?

Anybody else think it's interesting that the two schools with the best combination of rankings are both mid-major schools? Although Louisville is going to the Big East next year so that's not techinically true anymore.

This may sound a bit stupid, but I sometimes think that bigtime football schools may not really try to push the basketball program to the top and vice versa for bigtime basketball schools. But what do I know? :question:

I sometimes think that too.

This is kinda weird but it seems to me that a lot of basketball powerhouses wear blue: Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Uconn, Washington, and Kansas to name a few.
