Both Admiral and Shembari are excited to stay with Tennessee so unless Barnes cuts them loose looks like they will be here. The only guy in question of the others is Owens as Goodman put him on his transfer list.

On no not Tariq! I don't want him to leave. He's gonna be good as soon he put on some weight. I need to get him down south for about two weeks with Jabari so I can fatten both them up.

Auntie Dee you need to get Jabari to make sure Tariq stays!! We all want him here and he will thrive with Coach Barnes. So will Jabari. This is a homerun hire for these players. I hope they all see that!!

I promise I'm working on it. I'm about to call Jabari right now. I gotta get Tariq to South Georgia so he can eat real down home southern cooking. I bet he'll gain 15 lbs in one week.

Thats fantastic Auntie Dee!! I am sure he will stay for sure if you do that. I mean Jabari and Tariq are the 2 starters going into next year at the post positions (along with Armani of course). I mean how much better does it get being a starter for the VOLS in the SEC in the biggest arena in the country (other than Rupp) and on National TV every game!! I mean Barnes is a homerun hire here. Keep us up to date. Thanks for your info.

Jabari just texted me back after I screen shot your post. He said he's keeping Tariq with him (IN TN) because they are going to the dance together on the same team. Go Vols!:clapping: I certainly hope so. Now if I can just get Tariq's daddy to let me have him a week or two after this semester. :birgits_giggle:

Ohh wow! Well thanks. With hard work they could lead Tennessee to the tourney the next 3 years! I agreed with CDT as well that if Jabari hadn't gotten hurt they would have won at least 2 and maybe 3 more games and would have been in the NIT if not better. Tell him I said Go Vols!!

I helped raise him. He's my nephew and he lived with me couple of years before he went to Hargrave. So I know him petty darn good... from his curly locks to the bottom of his big feet.:)

I'll update this thread when threads start getting made for recruits we are after. I imagine we won't hear much of anything on that until after the dead period ends on the 10th.

We have 3 spots open . The way I see it we need 3 starters to go along with Hubbs and McGhee . Possibly 2 if Mostella steps up
