No....Still way to early to care about rankings.

Did anyone hear the comment Kevin Stallings said to his team at halftime during the UT-Martin game?

He told them "You guys are number 15 in the nation, congratulations we haven't played a single conference game and we are way overrated. Rankings don't matter till Feb." Great quote imo.

that is good if true, but I can't believe that Stallings did any positive that was noteworthy. that must have been an assistant talking or someone passed KS a note.

Yeah, it is early, but everyone will be looking at them when they come out today.

Probably 8...

Say what you want about Stallings, I can't stand the guy, but he is a good coach.

I find it interesting that the state of Tennessee has a strong representation in Men's Bball, Memphis, Tennessee and Vandy all ranked high and playing very well.

AP Probably top 10, 9th at best, but that's probably pushing it

Coaches:The coaches quickly realize that Tennessee is a Bruce Pearl coached team and drop them 7 spots after realizing they were about to be in the top 10

We know the polls dont matter in basketball but the thread what about what we will be ranked not if they matter or not. I think Tennessee will be around 9-10

Yeah I was thinking that in March when all 3 were in the sweet16, pretty wild considering the size/pop of the state.
