Basilio's Show Reporting...

Heather is an air head and her voice sounds like Rudolph the red nose reindeer, if she said it on the air, she should be dismissed from the show. But what do you expect from a station ran by retards, if you seen all of them together out in public, you would think it was revenge of the nerds.

I was sent by the 'grammar police.'

JC may be the worst QB in UT history. his parents may have done some outlandish things in defense of their son. but its their kid, and i dont blame them in the least. dang right id defend my son in any way possible, even against, well lets face it, 99% of VolNation.

So it's wrong for her to call Crompton a 'tard but it's okay for you to?

People are being too sensitive. Words evolve. I mean, what's next, folks getting all up in arms because someone uses "lame" or "dumb," which are actual conditions that shouldn't be made fun of. It's retarded all around.

If they are so utterly lacking in self control that they get irate about things said on talk radio, they shouldn't want their son playing major college football. They should have steered him to Catawba or Lenoir Rhine. They wouldn't have to worry about getting their thin skin pierced there.

I called her an air head not a retard, I said the station is ran by them. If you have children, you would not appreciate someone calling your child that on the radio. Especially since the kid has endured death threats, booed and ridiculed. Everyone has a breaking point, but a parent that would not defend their child (no matter if he is 22, he is her child) is not much of a parent.

A person so lacking in intellect that anything Heather Harrington says would really upset them isn't much of a human being.

Wow, You are COLD Hatvol, didnt this kid get death threats and stuff, i can actually understand them being on edge all the time, maybe im wrong but all the abuse he is getting seems a little wrong, i mean isnt it on Kiffin at this point since everyone knows how poor his play is, im just saying.

Talk radio commentary and death threats are two distinct issues. Heather Harrington didn't say she was going to kill Crompton.

Why is there a thread on this? HH is no authority on anything as far as male-only sports go. The only reason she's on that show is her blond hair. And this is probably going to be her best gig, so she better love it for now. As far as calling Crompton a "retard" you know, that's really not good editorially sound comment from somebody who is supposed to be a journalist. I think a comment like that should warrant a reprimand. I am an advertiser on the show and i have to look out for stuff like this. I think if this is the best analogy she can give, then she needs to shut up when we're talking about football. She really has no business commenting on football. Let her play one stinking down in any level of football and she'll see that it's a little more than just letting the ball fly and hitting a receiver on a crossing route.

Sorry folks, I'm on Mrs. Crompton's side and to call her white trash, and redneck and all this stuff is why us Tenneseean's have a terrible name. Her son is trying like heck to win games for his favorite college team and to treat them like this is nothing short of ridiculous. Heck, if I was her I'd call into the show. That blond amazon would back down, i guarantee it.
BYOBBIO

No. She is in no way a "journalist." She's not exactly digging for stories, she just gets on the radio and makes asinine comments.

The mentally challenged all over the country are outraged that Crompton has been called a retard. They don't appreciate his inclusion in their group.

How soon do we forget that their son received death threats last year? Of course, tensions are high. Understandable, no?

I have a question or two:
1. Is it a fact that this girl did call JC a "retard"?
2. Is it a fact that JC's mom thought she was going after her?

If Heather did, she should be pulled form the show. As for JC's mom, as hard as it would be, you cannot go after anyone regardless of what they say.

If we do not have any proof of either, I just wasted 10 minutes of my life.(well, maybe 8 because of the "good" pics).

Crompton's mother went after a woman she believed to be Heather Harrington Saturday night for calling Poor Little Jon a "retard" on the radio.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

After he committed to UT she went after Jeffery Stewart who covered UT recruiting for Scout at the time. JS had been critical of JC for not having the greatest numbers in HS. She then threw his supporting cast under the bus; blameing his teamates for hurting her son's passing efficiency. JS then issued an apology. Sorry if this has been posted already.

Monday morning she did say something happened Saturday and she had to leave where ever she was (did not get into details). To see this post makes me wonder if this is true.

If it is archived it would be between 9:15 and 10:00

You said she should be dismissed from the show if she said that while calling the shows producers retarded. I don't see how just because people have been critical of him that makes it worse.

Man I am so tired of all of this heresay about Crompton and his parents. It has been confirmed that it was not his dad that was thrown out during the Ohio game, and to be honest, if some idiot talking head called me a retard on her show when I was in college, my mom would have probably punched her as well. That is not white trash, as so many of you were quick to judge, but a mother being protective of her son, who by the way has taken more abuse from you knuckleheads than anyone should have to take. It is so funny to me how people are so quick to jump to accusations when things aren't going well. He is not a good or even adequate quarterback, we ALL get that, but give it a freaking rest already.

I would say she has her good moments AND her bad.

Seriously, before you call them a dysfunctional family, try to empathize.

Imagine your kid was the most ridiculed football player in the country.

Wouldn't you be quick to throw a punch or two?
Yes. One of us would would be laying on the ground.
