Listening to Tony B. and he mentioned VN and said he was going to take a look at what message boards are saying about CPF in the next hour.

I hope he reads the posts of people who dont have battered wives of fulmer syndrome...those who think Fulmer invented Tennessee football and would rather wallow in mediocrity with Phil than win with anyone else.

Phil needs to retire and live off the millions of dollars he has swindled from the University of Tennessee. In any other job Fulmer would be fired for the product he is producing but when your one of the good ole boys it doesn't matter.

I wouldn't think many boards differ with their groupthink opinion besides maybe GridScape is about the most Pro Fulmer one I have seen and that one has turned pretty anti-Fulmer.

Phil needs to realize what he has done at UT is impressive, but that times have changed. This isnt Brad Scott, Ray Goff, Jim Donnan or Dinardo we are talking about...the SEC has become the cream of the crop when it comes to coaching. Thanks Phil, but its time to go. Christian values, "working like heck" and being from tennessee are fine...but I just want to win.

Its obvious that we arent keeping up with the current competition in the SEC and have been mediocre for several years now. A tradition such as the one here at Tennessee needs to be maintained and Fulmer is NOT doing that. The bar has been raised, It's time for Tennessee to make a splash in the National Pool of talent and brining in a well known coach would do that. I dont think new recruits are going to want to come here knowing the state of the program and dont see Fulmer for what he once was. They are going to go where its happening, BAMA, USC, Ohio State, etc...etc...Back in the 90's Tennessee was one of those schools, we are not now.
