Dooley apologized for not disciplining certain people while others were disciplined. He said there are no favorites.

Now, let's contrast that with...say....Doc, Heather Harrington, Hyams, Hubbs, etc...They know the truth about many things. They have an access that Basilio does not, right? They don't tell it like it is, they give Vol fans a sugar-coated version and if that's not good enough, then everyone is crazy for having an independent thought.

I spent a lot of time covering the baseball hire. The Knoxville media didn't care, so, I had to find another way. Turns out, SC and CSF cared more about losing their coaches, so, between them and a few others...well you get the point.

It's a good thing to have folks not beholden to UT covering UT. That's not many people. I pay for a Scout membership, and, well let's just say they ain't right all the time either, and they certainly aren't going to be talkin' outta house. Because as much as we love the occasional "nugget", they can't afford to speak out and lose access.

You are spot on. The morons clamoring about the Knoxville media sucking are the very ones whining, when there's unbiased reporting that puts UT in a negative spot light.

Holy shi!.. its a team meeting. wtf is everyone worried about. I would care more if they decided not to have a team meeting after the season was over. Its insanity to think ppl are freaking about a team meeting. c'mon man

Calling him Doo-little is simply a reflection of what he has demonstrated thus far in terms of restoring the Vols to SEC and national prominence. It is a nickname that he has fully earned thus far. As far as what you think of it, or me, I couldn't freakin' care less. You mean nothing to me.

to announce to the players that Jay Graham has been hired as RB coach. He will also use this as an opportunity to gauge their approval and whether or not they like Graham. Players will then split up in groups of 4 and discuss the pros/cons of Graham and each foursome will designate a Team Lead to notate the pros/cons on a sheet of paper and clipboard.

After several minutes, the entire team will reconvene at which time each Team Lead will stand and address the team in turn with their group's pros/cons of Graham.

Team will meet again on Friday morning to let Dooley and Graham know whether or not they think each is doing a good job and making progress.

Basillio is an idiot! I don't bother listening to anything he says. I also don't think a coach should give a darn what his players think of a hire. coaches coach...players play.
