You reap what you sow. I told everyone on here that not hiring Schiano was a mistake, he would've done a good job here. Now we are left with the dirt at the bottom of the shoe. Quite frankly if we are shooting this low then we might as well go for a rookie HC like Tee Martin. At least then I could see some logic in that move whereas Doeren makes zero sense, period.

Heck, we should just go for Bobby Petrino or Lane Kiffin at this point. But Schiano would've been decent, as I've said before. He would've brought a much stronger teaching pedigree to our coaching staff.

We had good reason with Shiano. If we keep this up then we can forget getting a coach. We are having a hard enough time as it is. Just a thought, I'm not for the hire, but I am to the point now that who ever we get, we will be replacing in a few years. I don't think we can get quality now, hope I'm wrong. TN is a train wreck right now. I didn't think it could get worse, but I'm continually wrong.

Starting to feel the same and also hope I'm wrong.

There can still be a fight to figure out what is wrong with this administration from top to bottom. But some times are the right times to punt. I'm pretty speechless at this point :dry:

Not gonna happen UT fans are tired of the program sucking and tired of BS coaching hires. Very few if anyone will get behind hiring Doeren (SP)

You all do this again and we will absolutely be without a HC next year - maybe without an entire coaching staff and team.

How do we know who can coach or not? It takes like 5 minutes of research to realize this dude is not a good coach.

So we're going to hire a coach that is below .500 in the ACC and fighting for his job last season. NC State would love for us to hire him. What a joke this AD is.
