Interesting... but I won't believe anything at this until I see an official press conference.

I am hoping this is true. I would like to keep the Tampa-2 D around here for a while. He fits our team.

This is looking legit..

"Frankly, it might be in everyone's best interests for Smith to pursue the opportunity, unless he has no interest in leading a college program," Florio writes. "The Bears undoubtedly would have cleaned house at Halas Hall but for the buyout obligations to Smith and G.M. Jerry Angelo. With Smith's ability to stick around for 2011 riding on the performance of quarterback Jay Cutler and mounting uncertainty regarding a work stoppage after next season, heading to Knoxville makes plenty of sense, especially if his compensation from the Volunteers would be enhanced by a partial buyout from the Bears."

We've had too much misinformation for me to believe that all these Lovie loose ends are just hanging out there for us to digest. I think it's another misdirection.

The Bears want Lovie to go, but not bad enough to foot the whole bill. There's a high probability that he leaves the Bears next year.

If they weren't wrong about him, we wouldn't stand a chance.

This is a golden opportunity. Sieze the moment.

I agree and I wonder how much Lovie and Dungy had to with inventing the Tampa 2 compared to Monte? This is not to bash Monte, he is a great DC regardless of how he left but I have heard that Dungy had more to do with that defense than he did. I honestly don't know.

Boys, You need to believe this... Tribune SID has said Lovie in contract renegotiations with Bears front office as late as 10:45 pm last night.

Watch and SEE.... GBO

They want him gone but he has huge buyout clause that has to be taken care of..:clapping:

Do you have a significant (hundreds of thousands of dollars a year) booster texting you something otherwise? I'd like to hear about it. Doesn't mean it's not a rumor, but it has more substance than anything I'm hearing on my own.
