every president through W released their college transcripts, even though they aren't required.

ever wonder why Obama had his college records sealed?

probably didn't take a single relevant business course

Lol, they don't.

Age has a lot, not everything to do with it. You're missing one key area. Millennials are stupid.

Since you're one of these dumb millennials, i'll spell it out for you....no matter how smart millennials could possibly be, compound interest and time ensure boomers have more wealth. Nothing millennials can do would change this fact, thus it has "everything to do with it".

Holy mother ****ing **** you're slow. Of course old people have more money. You're ten steps behind as usual.

Millennials won't have it when they're older because they're stupid. You have to save now to have that money grow for later. Do you at least understand that? No? Of course not. Just simply being old doesn't make one wealthy as you've claimed.

You have to be smart along the way, not constantly be 10 steps behind.

Millennials are quite good at saving. We are tired of the waste, don't like loans and look for ways to save. Live at home, no car, small apartments, side jobs (uber), cheap vacation. If we keep it up you will see a dramatic shift down the road.

Where did I claim that? Search diligently and it could prove to be the first big step in discovering that you're stupid.

He constantly attributes arguments to someone that exist only in his own mind and gets angry when you won't defend the position that he has attributed to you. I'm convinced he cannot read.

Millennials are becoming minimalist quicker. I am the perfect example of that. Everything I have can fit into a trunk of a small car.

As a Gen-Exer who has done the rat race, probably better than most to my embarrassment, kudos and keep it up. Consumerism is designed to keep you as an indentured servant.

Need less. Produce more. Depend on yourself and be dependable for others. It is freedom, and it is revolution.

I'm becoming convinced the ageism in this country is worse than any racism here. Boomers think millennials are the dumbest pie in the sky pieces of crap ever to exist, and millennials think boomers are out of touch dinosaurs that just need to go ahead and die.

What's a gen x'er to do?

You throw a lot of insults around. Might consider easing up, glass houses and all.

I have plenty of issues. I know my faults. I know my strengths. I know what I can/cannot do. What I know and don't know. I have no issue calling people out over their stupidity. Just being old doesn't make one rich. You have to play it right along the way. Huff saying being old is the only reason for wealth and then changing his tune to include early investments and growth after being called out on his original bit is ridiculous. I merely pointed out that just being old doesn't make one wealthy. He got embarrassed and escalated. Fuzzy, warm feelings of compliments only get you so far.

You also may want to check your posting history on insults, glass houses and all.

Having been there many years ago, there is something to be said for having everything to fit in the trunk of a car.

You have been my b!tch for the past two days. Over and over you've shown your inability to read. You need to only look in this thread. I'll help...

Me - The fundamental flaw in this argument is that high earners would be satisfied being poor. They won't. They will continue to earn.

You -
You're unbelievable, LG Downer.

Are you really saying high earners should be taxed ridiculous amounts because they'll just keep working harder to keep getting taxed ridiculous amounts? High earners should just be taken advantage of? We should just punish high earners?

My next post - No, I didn't advocate a position. I simply noted the flaw in the argument. I am for a flat tax. One bracket. Tax begins being assessed at X dollars of income. No deductions. No credits.

At this point I responded directly to your post - You have got to start reading. You continue to add unsupported assumptions instead of simply reading carefully. It makes you look stupid.

Then you asked to clarify what I typed. It is a stupid request. How can I clarify an unambiguous statement? What you were asking me to do was to address the assumptions you made about my statement.

There is no need for me to defend positions that exist only in your mind.

Then you decided to start gloating about it...

Just as I had suspected, my original response sufficed leaving you with no way to defend your point.

Huh? You said nothing to challenge my point...

Then I showed you my position on taxes and you ignored.

Then you got mouthy in another thread...

Tums - What tax stance? The one where you had nothing to say? I already shut you down after you refused to clarify the comment you couldn't clarify. Now, go enable some worthless people and punish those who are successful. You've been having a rough few days. Dragging some hard working people down should cheer you right up.

Face it, you've been running your trap without reading. You may apologize now.

Some of my most fondest memories come from having almost nothing.
I moved to Connecticut after graduating from U.T. in 1972 with everything that I owned in my car. I moved back 2 years later with everything in the smallest U-Haul trailer behind the car. Within 6 or 7 years, I moved in a 24 foot box truck. It has been downhill ever since.

I've gotten rid of all of my possessions several times when I was younger. Literally moved with just a car, some clothes and a pet. Now that I have a daughter, that would be tough to do, but maybe again one day.
