Currently, he has meant more to the team than Dormady. While he has not played he has great leadership skills and brings energy every game. Both of those things he brings are invaluable.

With the way we've gone through QBs in the past few years? Jancek might even have to start warming up on the sidelines with the way we've been snakebit.

Well whoever said he's a quitter and they don't care about Jones you better go back and rewatch the florida game. WHile most of our starters and team had given up when we were down early and not doing anything on offense, he was up and down the sideline getting in everyones ear and hyping the team up to go back out there and play. Even the announcers commented on his body language compared to all the players out there actually getting playing time. Anyone who actually watched that game knows that he played a huge part in the team ending the streak.

The SEC season can be brutal, witness last years injury situation....but it seems like the Vols have had more injuries as of late, than ever before?

Still think this after today? Being the best sideline cheerleader does not make him the best QB.

O&WG announcers mentioned his playing with evident pain, after missing practice with an injury. My impression was that Sheriron could have sat out, but didn't. I think he is a special kind of player, after rallying the team against Florida the way he did, and hope Coach Canales will coach him well. He looks close to being where he needs to be.
