Everything is behind a paywall!
Cliff notes version:
1) Ole Miss transfers have looked strong:
A) Andrew Fischer has been crushing the ball to RF. Looks like a 25+ HR potential.
B) Liam Doyle has looked solid on the mound. Some are projecting him as a potential Friday night starter
2) Tegan Kuhn has impressed. Potentially a weekend starter
3) Gavin Kilen looks great at the plate. Potential starter at 2B as I think Curley remains at SS with Fischer at 3B but obviously too early to tell.
4) Cannon Peebles has been solid at the plate and Stone Lawless looks more than capable as well.
5) Freshman Jay Abernathy rivals Seth Stephenson with elite speed and has shown a very capable bat with power.
6) Just tons of competition and depth across the diamond but particularly at 1B, 3B, and LF including Alex Perry, Blake Grimmer, Hunter High, and Brayden Sharp.
7) You could plug a number of big bats at DH as well. Just lots of options
8) Both Dalton Bargo and Ariel Antigua have not participated in recent scrimmages but will be factors when they are back in action. Bargo can play 1B, 3B, C and both corner outfield positions. Antigua can play SS or 2B.

I would bet Doyle opens the season as the Friday starter. Not sure who else would be close.

I’m calling Kuhns as the Saturday guy. And one of the JUCOs (Arvidson, perhaps) is the Sunday guy.
I heard Nate Snead in an interview that he came here to be a starter, and he plans on starting in the Spring. This was an interview last week I think. I think he is trying to be a starter, but I guess the coaches will let him know
