Yeah, that’s not good. Hope they get better soon. Good news we have Hunley and likely Leath who would also be very effective starters. Pitching is deep. Just need to stay away from injuries and illness for sure....
Well he would have to work his way into the rotation that’s already deep. I think it’s a blessing in disguise in that more guys get innings in what seems like a crowded bullpen and then we get his (well rested) arm back in a month or so. If we play 3-5 games each week and he has 2 weeks to recover before the season starts that’s only 6-10 games. He wouldn’t be playing in more than 3-4 if he was healthy anyway.
I don’t believe it’s anything to worry about. Can’t wait for the season to start! Thanks for bringing this note to the forum, Bigun.
