The 12 players come from seven states, 10 are from the high school ranks and two currently attend junior colleges. Nine of UT signees were ranked as one of the top 10 prospects in their state by PGcrosschecker.com.

Looks like a promising class. Lots of top pitchers nationwide. It was great to get the best pitcher in the state, especially since he is from Brentwood. A step in the right direction, considering the competition with Vanderbilt. I hope we can "put a fence around the state" in baseball: like Kiffin wants to do, and Pearl is doing. Vanderbilt has done very well with in state recruits (David Price, just to name one).

Go Vols!
