Anyone watch it tonight? Barnhart and Schlabaugh picked TN to go 2-0 and win at Vanderbilt. Also, Barnhart added that no one except those inside the program at TN really knew how bad the situation was that Derek Dooley walked into. He said with Bray and Hunter the offense was a machine and the team was just too young to recover without them. He said we have got to give Dooley a few years to get some recruits in there to rebuild the team, and he will be successful at TN.

Travis should take notes...but I have a felling he knows this and what he's doing now is just an attempt to boost the ratings for his glorified blogs

Shows you what that IDIOT Schlabaugh knows, that TN, Vandy game is not "AT" Vandy, it's "AT" knoxville. He could have checked the schedule to know that right, right??

The media said the same stuff about Shula at bammer. They nailed that one didn't they!

This. I've stopped clicking on OKTC. I think he has his with the constant negativity and correlative comparisons between Mike Shula, Dooley, & James Franklin.

If its boosting their ratings, more power to 'em. I think its bad radio, personally.

Barnhart made the point that Vandy hasn't won 1 game on the road! I hope it is loud in K- town Saturday!

Dooley is our version of Mike Shula and he will be somewhat successful before nhis firing in 3-4 years.

Did he define "a few years"? If thats including the two he's already had I agree. He doesn't have a "few" more like this one.

I would love for Dooley to win 10 games and beat UF before he's gone.

I would love for UT to win no matter who the coach is. I like Dooley as a person and wish he was able to do a great job because that would mean UT wins and that is where my loyalty lies.

But many on here don't get it and their loyalty lies with DD instead of the school.

I don't think so.....I have yet to see posts where others are saying they love Dooley and etc., but what I have seen are posts describing the gutted roster and decimated program and the mess that he walked into. Those folks....which include myself...think it will take more time to rebuild than those those that think like yourself....

That's not correct. Most realize that the coach needs support as he's rebuilding and trying to get UT back to where they were many years ago. Most also realize another knee jerk reaction will delay our program from gaining prominence. The quickest way to get back is for DD to be successful. The quickest path is not to fire a coach and start over again, for the 4th time in 5 years.

I didn't expect to win against LSU, bammer, Florida, UGA, USC or Arky.
But I did and DO expect them to look like a well coached team and they do not.
I don't think he is the right guy and he was a knee jerk hire.

That's fine. I don't think anyone is elated with the season. However, your point that I was responding to reference fans choosing DD over the program, and that's not close to being correct. His departure would set the program back right now. One could even argue that you hold your detest for DD over what may be best for the program.

You have yet to see posts where others are saying they love Dooley and etc.., ?? Are you blind? You must be like my wife, she just LOVES to argue too.

What? Read my post again. I was comparing what the MEDIA said about Shula. Nice try though.

Still a comparison, no? For example, if I had said that Barnhart and the media said the same thing about Nick Saban after his first year at Bama; your little fingers couldn't type "so Dooley is Nick Saban now" quick enough. Hypocrite.

If you could find one person that would rather have Dooley and sacrifice the pride and winning tradition of the University, I wish you would point me to him. More of you trying to sensationalize something that simply doesn't exist. Competent people know the hand he was dealt when he got here, and then the hand he was dealt after his top two players got hurt. See the difference?
