That was pretty cool to see the city of Philly go crazy. They will LOVE Barnett and they don't even know how much right now.

Honestly, his approach to the game fits Philly about as good as anywhere. Blue collar guy all the way.

DB did not look happy with the pick by Philly.

You have to wonder if some Destiny is at work with #9 following #92 as a starting point.

VN is proud of you young man, kick butt in the NFL.

Happy for DB; would've loved to see him play in Charlotte with Alvin (hopefully) :crossfingers:

Sometimes it's a good thing. Eagles will be decent and DB will have some help. Garrett may think it's great to go first, but he'll be on the BROWNS. Perennial losers with poor leadership. He's injury prone to boot, he'll be lucky if he makes it through this season. It takes a whole lot of Big Jim's money to make it OK to lose all the time.

I agree 100%. No fan of either team but if I had to choose I'd pick Philly, even given the tough fan base there. With DB's work ethic and Reggie White's legacy he will be successful there, no doubt!

True. I forgot about the Panthers taking McCaffrey. I can still hope for Cam going to Charlotte. They could definitely use his talent there.

I think this is one of the many reasons the eagles drafted him. They think his professional approach will be successful in Philly. Of course along with his athletic ability, intelligence and intensity.

Unlike the cry baby DE that got drafted first by the worst NFL franchise.

Biggest question: There is some concern about how well Barnett’s game will translate to the next level. His athletic measurables aren’t elite. Some evaluators had a difficult time making sense of how he was able to rack up such impressive stats.

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure the immeasurables have something to do with it.
