Barnett ranks 3rd on one mid-season NFL draft board

Earlier in the year I wasn't sure who would be a better pro. I was leaning towards MG because he's a freak but DB is changing my mind. MG seems like a nice smart kid who wants to show he's more than a football player. DB wants to prove he's the best football player. Typically guys who obsess with being great are the ones that end up doing so.

We'll see soon enough but man DB is relentless.

if he was smart he would come back, the difference between 3rd pick and 1st pick are equivalent to being homeless and being warren buffett.
Apparently you haven't seen what has occurred to JRM and Cam Sutton this year. We have good DE's waiting in the wings. Phillips, Kongbo, Taylor, Butcher, and likely a few more that i can't recall at the moment. I'd leave because he appears to be a 1st rounder.

I want that man to go full beast mode in the last five regular season games and make scouts say "Myles who?" going into the draft.

Nothing would please me more than to see him break Reggie White's record. I still love the Minister of Defense for who he was and how he carried himself on and off the field, but Barnett is certainly deserving of that record.
Yes I agree. This all day.

We all know that ever since Woodson won the heisman over Manning. I wish the UT board of governors or whoever has the authority would allow our athletic dept. to boycott the media. Do our talking on the field so to speak. They truly are prejudice toward UT. Saban jumps on them all the time for their antics and they still appear to like him. HE,(Saban), is the SEC's savior this year if viewed in the proper light but i've strayed from this thread's intent. The truth pertaining to DB will demonstrate itself on Draft Day and we all know that Barnett's playmaking ability increases against the better opponents while Garrett get's most of his against inferior opponents. It's well documented.

Why are you saying that Barnett takes games off against inferior opponents, while Garrett seems to get even better?

Its going to be nearly impossible to replace him. I hope Phillips and Taylor can fill the void at least a little.

Notice they didn't mention TFL's, where Barnett is WAY better than Garrett!? Media Hates US!! jmo :)

.

not to mention Myles gets his stats from scrub games, Barnett gets most of his against SEC competition.

Barnett's ability to actually stop the run, automatically makes him a better pro.

I think he is very versatile as well, could easily play in a 3-4 as an end and a 4-3 as an end.

Both Barnett and Garret are better than and two DEs in one draft in years. But Barnett is far and away better over all, and it's really not that close. But, Garret will go first because he has the "prototypical build" for what the NFL wants. The NFL thinks, and rightfully should think, that they can teach Garret to do many of the things Barnett does. And the best coaches can. But you cannot coach 2 inches of height and a faster 40 time.

Barnett will have the better career. He just won't be drafted sooner unless something drastic happens. You know, like him having 2 sacks a game from here on out (which is, actually totally plausible.)

You pass up 30 million for the hope of 50 million and you are stupid.

Especially when he could get injured or potentially paralyzed on any play.

Man needs to get paid!

Plus him going top five gives us a huge recruiting press.

The SECOND contract is what you're trying to get to. Can't use a "homeless" analogy for a first round pick when the MINIMUM salary in the NFL is over $400 K.

Guys.

Look at Jalen Tabors draft stock analysis a few spots below Barnett. You will have no regrets...
