Had Barnes not taken the reins off of Keon and our offense, this would have been an L. After watching this game, it’s obvious the only thing that has been holding this team back is the coach. Ive been wondering the last few weeks why we were playing such a methodical slow paced 1/2 court offense. You saw tonight that’s not where Keon and Springer can best utilize their talents. But, but $5 million?
Tennessee is now 8-5 vs Kentucky under Rick Barnes, with 3 wins in Rupp Arena.
A breakdown since Barnes first season in 2015-2016:
In Knoxville: Tennessee leads the series 4-1
In Lexington: The series is tied 3-3
In the SEC Tournament (St. Louis and Nashville): The series is tied 1-1
AWESOME.
