I think Garner gets more recognition because he's a part of Banks defensive system. Garner has had his best dline (statistically) at TN.
Banks was nominated for Broyles in 2011. Garner wasn't on staff, so I dont think he needs Garner to help him get recognized. The defense is elite at every level which is why Banks is Broyles Finalist now.
