Tonight should have confirmed Chryst is not the answer for anyone who was still watching when he got in the game. The problem is that he reads too slow. Good tough quarterback overall, but he simply takes too much time. Chryst may or may not be the answer, but I’ve never thought that Guarantano was.
Probably more true than false, but there just isn't a playmaker or elite QB on the team right now. JGTN has right now at this given moment. (Or at least he was before tonight. If he's injured as a result of tonight, Chryst may be the next man up.)JG is tough and he tries hard. Unfortunately he just cant pick up blitzes or make reads quickly enough. He can be efficient at short quick throws, but he is not a playmaker with his arm or legs. He takes unnecessary hits, even on the occasional plays where he gets good protection, bc he always holds the ball till the last second possible.
VFL, great kid by all accounts, just not a playmaker or elite QB.
You mean the QB who led us to 2 TD’s is not the answer, but the guy who helped Florida score 23 is? At this rate, I hope Shrout is learning the playbook and maybe he can take over in the last 4 games and find us a win. Moreso, I hope Pruitt finds some studs who are ready to start day 1 next year.Tonight should have confirmed Chryst is not the answer for anyone who was still watching when he got in the game.
