Found dads 16 ga dbl barrel today. Gonna give it a good cleaning and let my brother have it. It was dads gun that he carried in the field for rabbit and quail, or whatever. Now each of the three of us have one of dads guns.

Savage dbl barrels can be valuable because they are so durable and functional. In something rare like a 16Ga it can really change things.
they are just good guns.

I didn't look at custom, just stock.....of which there is none. They are pretty expensive but if I can sight in with 10 rounds then I should be good for life on that gun.

My niece and one of her birthday presents. 270 Win Browning Bar from my brother, and the second is a Stoeger 20 gauge from my dad that she doesn't know about yet. She's getting it tonight and she'll get to shoot it a few times before my dad takes her on her first turkey hunt next weekend. Obviously an excuse for my brother to buy more guns. Lulz. He ain't fooling me.
