Haven't fired my 12-gauge side by side in 10+ years. I'd take to a gunsmith to get it checked out by another pair of eyes before I'd fire it again.

When the shelter in place order is lifted, I may go to the nearby gun range and shoot a couple of pistols.

Dry fire it and clean it real good. If it was put up relatively clean will shoot just fine.
