Look for the Bandwagoners to come out in full force over the next few months heading in to next season....

I've already seen evidence of them.

They're coming back. Some made an appearance this past August and September, but ducked out quickly after the OK and FL losses.

They'll be back this coming fall, esp. around the hype of the Battle at Bristol.

Yep.

But yanno, I don't mind. I mind them leaving when we're down, think poorly of them for that. But I don't mind them coming back, as long as they're humble about it. Eat a little crow, then put your orange back on. Just don't keep doing it over and over.

Bandwagoners only support the team when the team is doing as well as the bandwagoner thinks the team should be doing.

If the team is not, they either complain / ridicule the coaches and team, hide their orange, ignore the games or root for another team.

Any Bama fan who doesn't know the names of Shula,Coach Fran, Debose, and Price before Saban arrived. They think it went straight from the Bear to Saban...

If You want a true fan, anyone wearing Orange from 2008-2013,that is a true fan

I posted this story that happened to me on the "VOL FOR LIFE" Facebook page. This is a perfect example of a bandwagon fan

This is the reason why many of of us hate Bama and their bandwagon fans here in TN.
So after the butt whipping we put on Purple Vandy, I decided to go out and grab some take out at Bojangles. While I was waiting on my order the woman manager and 2 of her employees walk up to me.
1st kid: What's up with all the UT Fans?
Me: Huh?
About that time all 3 yelled "Roll Tide".
Me: That's a good one. Y'all from Bama?
1st kid and manager: No
Me: So you're bandwagon fans?
1st kid: Nope, been a fan all my life.
Me: Oh really? Can you name 3 coaches between Bear and Saban.
manager: (silence)
1st kid: Ummmmmmmmmmm no
Me: I hate Bama and can name at least 5 coaches.
Me: Can you name 2 players prior to Saban.
Manager: (silence)
1st kid: ummmmmmmm, no.
Me: Hahahahahaha, y'all are bandwagon fans.
1st kid walks off after I embarrassed him in front of everyone.
2nd kid admits he is a bandwagin fan.
Food arrives and and as I walk out, I tell them "Keep riding that bandwagon"! Laughing all the way out of the store.
I wanted to say a lot more but I think I made my point. There is nothing worse than a bandwagon fan. But when you yell Roll Tide at me, I will call you out. I actually had something similar happen last year at Buffalo Wild Wings with the same results.
Go VOLS!

PhillyMac, me and you could be great friends... I've done this myself,1st question I always ask "you from Bama?", after that it's all down hill for them

The end of the 2000's were tough damn years. Had a guy ask me the other day if I'm a Tennessee fan why do I have a pink T on the back of my truck. I said it was orange when I put it on. Guess it's time to get a new one. Might put it on the other side because the faded one seems to be finally bringing some luck. Always been great to be a Tennessee VOL!!!!

Lol. This. My "T" sticker went from orange, to pink, to what is now almost completely white. My truck is white, so I think the white "T" looks pretty good. Think imma keep it.

Psh I got kicked from like 2 different FB groups because I criticized coaching early in the season. I was called "bandwagon fan" lol

He should've taken the high road and played along with the bandwagon bunch. Then, come back later and burn their Bojangles to the ground.

No no no!!! Never take Bojangles for granted. It's one of the things I miss about not living down there. Can't beat some bo berry biscuits. Or an Egg Bo, but they look at me weird everytime I go back and order that. Sorry guys some habits are hard to break.

Except for the Vols, my son is somewhat of a Bandwagon fan. He will look at the score on TV to see who is winning and pick that team to pull for.

He is 6.

Most people mature and outgrow that, but some don't.

My son will, but at this point in his life, he doesn't like to miss a math question, root for the losing team or lose at Basketball or Black Jack.

Preface by saying I'm a vol fan through and through, never wavers.

But I did follow Peyton from Indy to Denver, and when he retires, I will probably become a Titan, so does that make me bandwagon?

A bandwagon fan is also someone who roots for the Broncos because they are good and when someone asks why they're a Broncos fan and they say "I like them because of Peyton"
