Ok, so this is a sweet game I ran across on cracked.com

1) Select your band name - The article name that appears here.

2) Select the album name - The last four words of the last quote here.

3) Select album cover art - The third photo that appears here.

Here's my first one.

Unica is a new progressive rock band on the scene. Their debut album "Too Young, Too Old" is a tribute to their greatest influence, Dream Theater.

Let's see what you guys come up with... :)

Corsica National Football Team
and our album "Music is to Music"

sounds like my kind of band, pretentious name and title, and a love of underage looking girls :)

Oh yeah, pretty sure we would be dance rock

Guano

simple to understand it.

Guano is actually a pretty cool band name.

"defending rather than attacking"

That came up as one picture. I guess it would have to be the front and back cover art.

Mingus Mountain - First to Learn Latin

MM melds jazz and chant into an annoying mashup of epic proportions.

Generalized Verma Module or GVM as their fans lovingly know them, drop their 3rd album "Go Hand in Hand." The band's sound has changed from the eclectic Turkish feel of "Subject to Diminishing Returns" to a new polka feel. If you love the accordion, you'll love this album!

Live & In the Can - Of Letters, Is Simplicity

After listening to Live & In the Can's newest (Of Letters, Is Simplicity) my first thought was I wished I was Dead & In the Ground. What a steaming pile of over-indulgent, narcisstic tripe.

What the Butler Saw - Ninety Nine Percent Perspiration

99% perspiration eh? So that's what the smell is. I think a better title would be 100% crap. (and I usually like Albanian Folk Rap)

1862 in Ireland

"the more highly appreciated"

I am not sure what is historically significant about 1862 in Ireland, but I assure you it does not deal with groundbreaking music. What would be more highly appreciated would be less "by the book" pop drivel and lyrics that didn't sound like the ramblings of a 15 year old ADD posterboy. The one thing this album has going for it is that the cover art seems indicative of the oral hygiene of the band members.

Interestingly the Michigan band Waverly Ohio get their name from a town they hate more passionately than I even hate their music. The punk sound of "Fears this is True" borrow greatly from pop-punk influences like Sum 41, aka, CRAP.

I don't know much about this band other than... I'm looking for Women's NUMBERS, not names.

Irish League 1939-40

"from any human experience"

This heavy handed diatribe against the evils of industrialization should be a hit with the granola "inconvenient truth" crowd.
