Ban idiots and beer sales from Neyland

In all my years of watching our beloved VOLS, I have never been more embarrassed by our fans’ behavior than tonight. On national television. With some key recruiting prospects and their families in the stands. You idiots who threw things onto the field and at Ole Miss players…I hope the UT campus police and the Knoxville police make it their mission to track each of you down, charge you with a crime, fine you, and generally make you pay for embarrassing our university, our state, and your families. Once you are identified, I hope each of you is banned for life from stepping foot inside Neyland ever again.

UT leadership: the experiment with beer sales inside Neyland is over. Ban beer sales inside Neyland forever. Our fan base can’t handle it.
Honestly don't think it was the beer...

I’ve never once had an issue.

Carried in a fifth of Jack one time, in my hand, while being patted down. Had my jacket draped over my arm/hand. Walked in smooth. 😂

Try again. I dare you. And don't look for anyone to bail you out.

You should of seen the students throwing big rocks at the Ole Miss equipment tractor trailer. When I was leaving the game going back to the car students were pelting it with rocks.

I've taken in two point bottles on multiple occasions and have even been caught a few times. Only penalty is they don't let you in with them. Either throw it in the trash can, pound it, or circle back around and try a different line to get in. Didn't even have to post bail or nothing 😂

After tonight? It just might get worse. By law, they can do a whole lot more. Especially if you happen to pop your smart mouth. And I got a feeling those screws are going to get tightened. Real quick.

Actually they crack down pretty hard on that these days.
Yeah, if I’d of been patted down as well as the 5 or 6 people in front of me they’d of noticed the bottles in my socks. Close call. I did drink too much but somehow ended up being a voice of reason in the stands

It wasn't. Why bring a golf ball into a football stadium, unless you're planning to throw it at somebody? The act itself, requires premeditated effort. Nobody gets angry, and then just happens to have a golf ball on them. This wasn't simply poor spare of the moment judgment from a drunk. It was something which had been planned since well before kickoff... more than likely, by a completely sober a-hole.

Who know if “beer sales” had anything whatsoever to do with it or not.

however I can say, there were no beer sales at my house……and I didn’t notice anyone throwing stuff from my living room.
I was going to throw the remote but then realized it had the mute button, so I held on to it.

Ban idiots--not beer! Beer and football go well together! Recommendation: lower beer prices!

Apparently you weren’t around for the Gaffney “catch”.

I agree it was out of line to throw things. I think the ncaa need to implement a penalty of players and coaches taunting the opposing fans. Shushing the fans after a TD, etc. It’s like the bell curve. If you taunt people, the vast majority will yell at you. But there are those drunk idiots on the wings if the curve who will go further.

The gaffney catch ruling was the worst officiating decision in 50 years.
Until that TD was overturned for a normal sack/strip. I’d have been pissed had they said the play was blown dead but that would’ve been a normal reason. Instead, the refs made up complete BS to justify taking a TD away. They are supposed to be there to keep the game within rules and not affect the outcome. Instead, SEC refs like to be the focal point and, in this case, made up their own rules.
