What this fanbase can’t handle is another loss. This was years in the making and the build up to this game was dangerous and I knew we were sitting on a powder keg.

This fanbase is THE BEST in all of college athletics.
Yep. I heard some saying this would be the perfect symmetry game abs symbolic of moving on. It was built up to more than what it actually was bc some dumbass HC didn’t get hugged growing up

I’m not ashamed by our fans at all this had been building all night we got absolutely screwed by the refs our team played and fought hard to try and win only for it to get unfairly taken away. Lane also fueled the fire with his trolling pregame.

In all my years of watching our beloved VOLS, I have never been more embarrassed by our fans’ behavior than tonight. On national television. With some key recruiting prospects and their families in the stands. You idiots who threw things onto the field and at Ole Miss players…I hope the UT campus police and the Knoxville police make it their mission to track each of you down, charge you with a crime, fine you, and generally make you pay for embarrassing our university, our state, and your families. Once you are identified, I hope each of you is banned for life from stepping foot inside Neyland ever again.

UT leadership: the experiment with beer sales inside Neyland is over. Ban beer sales inside Neyland forever. Our fan base can’t handle it.

Get off your high horse. It wasn't a great look but let's stop acting like people have been hospitalized. It'll be forgotten by mid-week. (And it won't hurt recruiting. It'll probably help. Can't say our fan base doesn't have the players' backs)

Yup. Every fan base has had a few fans throw sh$t. Like literally everyone. But the “media” is going to bend over backwards to pile on and tweet about how we are “trash”.
Who cares what the ****ing media says? Have they been on our side ever?

Man up for gods sake.

ESPN is going to have their 5 minutes of faux outrage over this. But Eff them. I’m just happy that Kiffin was legit scared. We ain’t a punchline in his Twitter trolling efforts.
Kiffin liked it all. He wants to be the circus. It was the SECN that made it so, not the fans

So beer sales are not the problem. I stood in line so long that I gave up and went back to my seat. No one is getting hammered on a 14 dollar coors that takes 40 minutes to get. This will be spun for sure but the frustration boiled over tonight. Not right and not an excuse but the officiating sucked with 2 teams evenly matched. And those injuries…

It looked to me like it was mostly water bottles being thrown on the field not beer

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think he got it tonight. We ain’t onboard with his trying to make what happened here with him a cute little joke about his boyish antics.

Who know if “beer sales” had anything whatsoever to do with it or not.

however I can say, there were no beer sales at my house……and I didn’t notice anyone throwing stuff from my living room.
