Bammers think were scared

I concede that you dusted us and it was a great game for you, but there is nothing you can say that will dress up a loss to ULM. Saban and the boys deserve any ridicule anyone could heap upon them. In fact, had Mich not lost to Appy State, your little doozy would have been worst loss of the year, maybe even the decade.
Damn those Wolverines...............

I've said it before, ULM pretty much ruined the bammer's season... how do you honestly think bama will finish this season? This should be entertaining.

I'm not trying to dress anything up. We got our a$$es beat by ULM. It shouldn't have even been remotely close. I'll concede that we got dusted by ULM.

you stopped a little short, so I'll help..........dusted by ULM. I can't imagine that UT, or any other program touting its coach as the savior, has any such embarrassing defeat in the past 20 years or so.

K just wondering from a bammer's POV. I don't see it happening and I don't see you guys having a coach after the season but that's just me.

We may not tout Fulmer as a savior, but Tiger High in 1996 was about as bad a loss as any team could ever have. It cost us a major bowl bid, and they were a very bad team.

Alabama's loss to ULM probably demoted them from the Music City Bowl to the Independence Bowl. The ULM loss is as funny as hell, but their worst loss I can remember was to Georgia Tech in 1981, when Tech went 1-10. Alabama probably would have played for the national title if they hadn't lost. Plus it apparently impressed someone so much that they eventually hired Tech's coach... :birgits_giggle:

What do y'all think your strengths and weaknesses will be?

DB's, running game, etc lbs should be good even with the loss of Mayo, once again it will come down to the d line especially at DT, and having a productive qb, we have the wr's IMO

Wow look at all the abbreviations, oh well I'm tired and lazy

It did cost us a coalition bowl game but Memphis had a top five defense that year. That's a fact and I was in the stadium for that debacle.

They did have a good defense. They were also 4-7 and lost to Louisiana-Lafayette. Maybe they had half of a good team (defense) and half of a dreadful one (offense), but there's absolutely no way they should have been able to beat the team UT had on the field that day.

Easily one of the most inexplicable losses by a college football team in the last 30 years, probably tops in the SEC except for the Bama-GT game of 1981.

Let me clarify a little. They had a top five run defense that year and coach Fulmer decided the game plan would be to run the ball down their throats. Not to mention they had a kick return for a td that was bogus due to the fact that the return guy got knocked down after about a five yard return but the refs didn't call him down as he bounced back up like he was on a trampoline.

:eek:lol: Congrats NEW COACH. You're their hero.

A selection of my favorite comments/etc. :

From a sig. And you've lost how many in a row to Auburn?

This from the program that the NCAA considered the possibility of giving the death penalty to for their violations. Mike Dubose anyone?

Well...I can't argue here. The pay is better in Dixie.

I would quote more, but I had to wade through 4 pages of manure to get these. Some more sensible bammers were taking a wait-and-see attitude.

They're ripping Fulmer as unethical when they have SABAN?!?!???!? HYPOCRITES!

They think Fulmer is unethical for turning in Alabama. They will be bitter about the fact that they cheated, and got caught, until the day they die.

I hope it turns out that hiring Dave Clawson as OC and Latrell Scott as WR's coach is the strength.

The D-line is the biggest concern for me and I hope they work on Special Teams too. They got much better towards the end of the season especially when Rogan returned kicks but they need to work on it a little more.

I hope we kick the crap out of the bubba's in neyland this year. 41-17 crap is getting old. Abberation is all that game was, enjoy it trolls. It will be short lived.

We will beat them next year in Neyland
We'll probably return the favor. 35-10 sounds about right. They will have all young receivers. I don't think they will come in here and run the ball very effectively. Payback is going to be a bitch for the bubba's.
