OK, since the game yesterday I've heard from a lot of people on my FB site. You can imagine what fellow Big Orange fans are saying. But what's getting me is that I am getting deluged by bammer friends talking incessantly about us "enjoying this moral victory" and how Kiffin "is going to get his" in tuscaloser, and had "no class" in his post game interview, etc... These are bammers I remind you.

I'm not sure how, but Kiffin loses two games in a row and the bammers are suddenly more threatened by us than they have been in a long time. I am kinda enjoying it - maybe they're afraid of becoming a beacon of Kiffin's launch into the SEC win columns.

My bama friends down here in GA was ragging on me pretty dang hard. until i reminded then we are not even ranked and only lost by 10 points to a #1 ranked team.. I have a feeling there will be a major upset in the SEC division before its all over with..And boy wouldn't it be nice to upset bama. Bama is probably the best team in the sec as of this moment, cause we all know that the gators are wayyyyy over rated, but bama on the other hand,......... i think the vols vs bama game is going to be the hardest game of the season

My problem has not been Bama fans, its been Ole Miss fans. I hope we go to Oxford and shut everyone of them up and remove that pretty little number next to their name. And yeah I agree about the Bama game, we need to get McElroy rattled early and force them to run.

Do not feel like you have to indignify their remarks with comments. They are second class citizens, cheaters and will be on probabtion more years than not.

UT coached and played a great game. I thought UT's lack of a viable passing game would put added pressure on UT's running game and defense. For that reason, I thought UF would take over the game in the second half and win by about the spread. However, the two big turnover's -- credit UT's defense -- coupled with making UF settle for some FGs kept UT in the game. UT's defense, special teams and running game actually performed well enough to win, despite UT's lack of a balanced offense. If UT had been able to throw the football well, UT might have even been able to pull off an upset.

Thus, with a valiant effort by UT and a conservative game played by UF, it came down to Tebow versus Crompton. Game over. UT is in the same boat that UT, USCe and LSU were all in last year -- desperately needing better QB play.

Great effort by the Vols! Two thumbs up!

I feel more of a threat from Kentucky than I did Florida!
I hear you. Bama has to play them on the road too. Louisville gave Kentucky fits yesterday but both teams looked much improved versus last season. So my thoughts about Kentucky being a very dangerous team this season remain intact. UF goes to Lexington this weekend. It'll be interesting to see how that goes. We should be able to tell a lot more about UF and UK both.

They are a young team without much depth, but I will give them this, they are much better coached, better prepared, and play with more fire than any of Fulmer's teams.

This quote says from that Bammer site says a lot for me.

If Florida didn't blow us out yesterday as expected, I really doubt Bama has the fire power on Offense to do it

I don't. Their offense is just the kind Monte has defended for 25 yrs in the NFL. This game showed how little time an opponent has to throw. A relentless pass rush was their undoing against Utah.
