I just want everyone to know, I really think we have a good chance the rest of the season BUT Bama is really ridiculous looking. I seriously think they could have 6 or 7 possible everyday NFL players on Defense.
I definitely agree. They've built a wicked D.

Their front seven is disgusting, when they were playing Ole Miss it looked like Greg Oden being guarded by Dane Bradshaw. They have a front 3 of 6'3+ and 300+ all athletic. I mean I hope that crompton has a good game because it is impossible to run on these monsters. I really think they can stop Tebow and will be in the NC game at the end of the year. Trust me I bleed Orange but this team is just all men among boys.

I think you are probably right but am fairly confident they'll go to the NC with a loss... might as well be UT, right?

Anyway, I think you are right about their down 3. UT will have a tough time running between the tackles consistently. The real test IMO is whether UT can get the edge and run off tackle and sweeps. Bama doesn't give up a lot... but they give up just a little speed in comparison to the rest of the SEC to run the 3-4. Their LB's across the board are heavier than most SEC teams. They have two regular sized DT's and then a sumo wrestler in the middle. UT Needs to seal off the OLB's and hit big with the wide zone play and the toss sweep.

Big game for he WR's to block well too. If the OL's do not allow penetration and the WR's lock up the DB's, I like Hardesty's chances of beating one 230+ LB with quickness.

UF misses Harvin. He made the other "playmakers" better. They also miss Murphy who was their leading WR last year.

So far, UF has 1009 passing yds. 627 of those yards came against Charleston So and Troy. They are averaging only 130 ypg against UT, LSU, and UK. Tebow has thrown 2 TD's and 2 INT's against SEC opponents. His QB rating is 138 vs the SEC and 198 vs Non-Conf. JC's QB rating vs the SEC is 135.

Meyer had a goal of recruiting the fastest team in America. Mission accomplished. It seems though that he didn't find guys who can run routes or catch passes.

UF is great on D. They're vulnerable on O. I honestly haven't seen anything from them at any point of the season that suggests they can beat Bama.

can bama's QB pass on florida's D? is florida's D suspect? i know we ran well on them, but LSU just stunk.

I don't think I'd call Florida's D suspect. They had a bad game against us and gave up just a bit more than 200 yards. We did run on them because we stayed committed to running the ENTIRE game, which teams will have to do against them to have a chance.

I agree. I think Bama is playing the best football right now. However I still don't think they can blowout a team with a defense like Florida's and a quarterback like Tebow.

Bama beats UF in the SEC title game---mark it down. UF's O is good, but they lost a ton of talent in Harvin and Murphy and have no deep threats. Plus, Tebow's passing looks worse than last year, if that's possible. Bama's D will give them all kinds of problems, and score enough on O to win by 7-10.

Florida is -24 against ARK??? Wow someone please take Arky and the points

I agree. UF offense just isn't there this year -- unless they are playing high school teams. Real defenses expose them. With out Tebow they would have at least two loses this year.

Bama o-line is a lot better than UT. They will run all over UF.

Let's see the Tebow - Cody collision! Great youtube moments.

Considering the FL game, I would be surprised if any ridiculous odds emerge. Rest assured, the money-makers took note.

I dont know why you think bama will beat UF. I just dont see it there D is great dont get me wrong but the QB has not been tested yet. Let him get down about 7 to 10 points and then you might be able to answer that. They were good last year and there QB only played from behind in three games LSU, UF, and Utah. He played ok against a not great LSU team and you know what happened the other two games. I just dont know if he is good enough to beat a top team yet. At times Sat. in the first half he looked a little rattled to me and then they got a good lead and he was fine. I am just saying lets see him pull the tide back into a game before you thank they are the best. Tebow was down in the last two games last year and you seen what he could do i would take UF right now because i just dont think the Bama QB is good enough to put his team on his shoulders yet. I may be wrong but JMO thanks

I agree that bama should beat SC by the spread but not much more. I do think the Florida / Arkansas will be close though. Bama will be favored by 15 at least over UT. They are probably better than Florida and deserve #1 ranking more. But we still gonna get em next Saturday!!! GO VOLS!!!!!!!

Agree: I'm taking ND and the points against USC. If the irish can't beat the trojans this year--with a Heisman caliber QB and good passing game and usc starting a true freshman QB, they never will. I think ND will win the game if they can stop or slow down the usc run attack.
