Bama's advantage for disabling the headsets.

Watching replay right now on CSS - pretty curious that Bama's opening drive was one of their most successful of the entire game! Thank goodness we held on 4th & 5 and points didn't come of this. I don't know whether it was coincidence or not, but let's face it... it's Bama, it's Saban (a Belichick protege), we know from the tape incident that they're not above skirting the rules for any little advantage... Certainly no big deal now, but those ridiculing this whole thing are naive at best.

Those inbreds aren't that smart. They probably contract out everything, except janitoral services.

Yes, Bama had a diabolical headset mastermind working from the grassy knoll in Dallas, taking electronic shots at Tennessee's sideline, all the while wiring cash into each ref's bank account, for the sole purpose of making sure they somehow allowed Bama's D to DESTROY UT's front line and block not one.... but TWO kicks.
I KNEW IT!!!!

in all likelihood, the more i've thought about it, the SEC probably has a crew that sets them up on separate channels. surely as much money as passes through this league, they don't leave it up to individual venues/teams. as i said earlier, we (troy) were much more "small time" football at that time. someone has to monitor the system though, and the timing seems rather "coincidental", but any concerted effort to sabotage our communications is probably a stretch at best. i may have over reacted in my earlier post. :)

I just got done rewatching also. I've always suspected funny stuff from Saban.
