Alabama and Tennessee are RARELY good at the same time. this series is known for one team beating the other many years in a row. It rarely matters (like UT vs FL did every single year of the 1990s when both teams were top 5).

Pruitt's salary is pretty low compared to most , and i don't think your going to get any good coach's if you don't pay on the front end.

Agreed. Fans keep handing them money and they just stuff their pockets and get a 1st time HC.

Maybe Pruitt does a great job, but that doesnt mean paying for a top coach isn't the way to go rather than relying on luck.

Even more telling as entering the new look SEC with the Championship game added in 92. Much talk was 2 winningest schools in conference history. Will we see them play twice a year. 26 years in hasnt happened yet. So sad. Both schools to reiterate your point about the 3rd Saturday in October rankings disparity haven't been really good at sames times.

Even though i think Pruitt will do a good job, i agree with you on that.

It’s literally the only game broadcast on that Saturday, so it gets to combine that perk along with national pride to yield high viewership numbers.

Rest assured, people don’t really care who wins the matchup; honestly, Vandy has more primary fans than both institutions combined.

Yeah, thats not true at all. Both teams have huge fanbases of passionate fans. Throughtout my time in the military ive attended watch parties all over the country. There is one in nearly every city that yield s lots of people.
You should attend the game sometime. Ive attended around 40 or so vols games. Probably 35-40 Titans games,.several predators and braves games. There is nothing like a Navy Army game. It has a completely different feel than other games.

Doesnt that generate more arguments if I say something that is 100% correct and people still disagree and call me a clown? I get that there is alot of debate to be had around ut football and some wont like my opinions and the way I express it and thats fine. The key is to find common ground on things you do agree with. It makes the disagreement seem less outrageous. Ive had very good interactions and found common ground with some of the buggest sunshine pumpers on this site, and certainly never resorted to calling any of them a pos. Not acknlowedge the fact that navy army is one of the biggest rivarlies in sports and calling me a clown for saying it is, is just silly. Its is widely known that is the biggest and even those that dont think its the biggest at least put it in the top 3-5.

I'm thinking most Barners are not currently happy about the $49 mil they are paying the HS coach from Arky....
