On every Alabama board I've ever seen, dissenting opinions are squashed and opposing fans are immediately banned. None of us would last long enough on one of your boards to "get it bad." You guys are paranoid down there.

To me it's the fans. I live in Huntsville and these bammers make me sick. Nick Saban gets hired and they're winning the National Championship. They get rated the #1 recruiting class and they're winning the National Championship. We lose to them last season and they're giving me crap at work.

Bottom line, they think they are the gods of football, which could not be farther from the truth.:lame:

That's pretty funny cuz I wrote the same thing a few times over the past year. I went to school and now live in Chattanooga, and I go crazy with all the bandwagon fans. Like 50 year old toothless mofos trying to fight me at the bar watching alabama and auburn playing? I mean how often does that happen? 2 fans from rival schools hate each other so much they almost get kicked out of the bar when their two teams aren't even playing each other. And then they all magically reappeared in 2005 or whenever when they finally had a decent record again. A complete joke!

After the 1970 game the series was dead even. They went on an 11 game winning streak as Battle (a former Bammer) drove us to mediocraty. We won from '82-'85
and they then won from '86-'92.

It used to bother me that they are up in the all time series but then I saw how lopsided some other famous rivalries are. Michigan is up on Ohio State by like 20 games. Texas is still up on Oklahoma by like 15 games.
Geogia is still up on the Gators by many games (I think).

For the magnitude of rivalry Tenn/Alab is the all time results are indeed very close. We need to make sure they don't reel off any streaks and the series will continue to get closer.

I remember that game like it was yesterday. The only tie that felt like it was something special. Really, we were outplayed the entire game by the Vols.

Personally, I love the Bama/Tenn game. The third Saturday in October is a special storied rivalry. Someone posted earlier that usually when one team is up the other is down; so true.

Before you speak, think wisely... the chosen few live below I-10 with Emeril but endure disasters of almost biblical proportions...

Oh, did I mention the food is awesome?

A scan of the SEC records will give you an idea. It's a little different here in Louisiana because this state does not have any significant rivalries with any of the other SEC states; Arkansas and the boot not withstanding.

UT isnt even Bama's greatest rival. The barn is. And I will never feel the same hate for UT as I do for the barn. I cant wait for UT to play Auburn. Itll be a win win for me, but im still gonna pull for Tenn.
