Bama/ VA Tech and UT/?

Bama and Va Tech are getting it on in the 2009 Chick-a-fila kick off and word on the street is The Vols will be representing the sec in the 2010 season opener. I just checked our schedule and it looks like it may very will happen because the opening week of the season is the only week we haven't booked an opponent. What ACC team would every one like to see us beat up on. I personally want Va Tech or either one of the suck a$$ Florida schools!:rock:

If VA Tech is going to be in the game this upcoming season, I doubt they'll be in the kickoff classic the following year again. I would like to see TN take on FSU again. It would be a nice throw back to the National Championship season of '98 and good way to open the National Championship campaign of 2010! GO VOLS!

I want one of the FL schools. Any opportunity to showcase our program in from of FL's talent will be good. Depending on how NC does next year, I would be interested to see us play them. It would be a border war and we have been going head to head with them for recruits recently with Butch pulling a lot of them away from us.

Don´t want to play Miami in 2010...Those guys are winning right now with freshman and sophs, By the time 2010 comes around they are going to be back to being a powerhouse again...Not saying We won´t but they already have the nucleus in place.

Living in north carolina, i would love to see ut play either the tar holes or the pack.

I agree, NC State would be nice, but as pointed out before, UT has a tough opening schedule that year. So smacking Duke around could be cool too, if it is on Nat'l TV...

you think cut is going to let us smack his blue devils around? lol if we do play them i hope we kill them but it will probably be a close game

gotta vote for GT if we can't get VT. Would love to have bragging rights over some family members when UT beat the Jackets

We might as well do a home and home with GT. They have won more games at home than any other team, but Tennessee is a close second

playing them in Atlanta wouldnt do us any favors, I dont know if I ever mentioned this but I hate the God D*** Georgia Dome, just too many bad memories.

I would like to play Florida State, they should do well next year and be highly ranked by the time this game comes around. I don't want to play an unranked team from anywhere. Better to have nothing to lose and something to gain, be it Miami, Fla. State, VT, or a NC school.
