No, they are very upset to lose Pruitt, then on top of it, Sherrer. My Bama friends are happy for UT, but know it sucks to lose Pruitt.

My father lives in Alabama and the folks in his office are PISSED, he said the radio is full of angry Bama fans complaining about Pruitt and Fulmer.

Same here. One of my best friends is a big bama supporter, and he must have sent me at least 20 emails today raising Hell about Tennessee "poaching" Pruitt.....can't find our own coach so we "steal" theirs. He called me around 8:00 tonight still b!tching and moaning and finally said Pruitt was the one coach he most hated to see leave bama since saban was hired.....even more than Smart. He was mad at me......like I was the person who hired Pruitt.

Losing Pruitt was a blow they were not expecting.

1. They love JP and hate that he's leaving. Especially for us. They're sad that they "have to hate him now."

2. They're ticked that we took their coach before the playoffs, as this has happened to them 3 years in a row now by someone.

3. They would DIE if we managed to steal Lupoi, they're in love with him.

4. Many of them were hoping for Sheerer as DC, who we got, so that makes you feel good.

5. One guy said this ruins Pruitts chances to take over at Bama Bc he sold out to us.

6. They REALLY hate Phil.

7. They don't want JP to coach them in the playoffs. Kirby did it and it didn't work out well for them. They think it's a distraction.

It's a little slow there. They pass hand written notes to each other and then have to decipher what was written. The internet is a rumor in Alabama.

Only reason for any bitterness is having a coach who won't be totally committed to our team.

Pruitt can be replaced. Just sucks if will be handling double duty, which hasn't worked well for us the past 3 years.
