After narrowly missing the expanded College Football Playoff, Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne is urging Tide fans to "fight back" and help fund the school's NIL fund.

One of my main takeaways from the article is that the Vols' victory this year was not mentioned as some sort of unexpected upset. That bodes well for the direction of the program for sure (as reported by the media).

That said, I wonder how many of the Gump faithful will forego their annual tooth cleaning to buy their way back to a place where they don't lose to vAndy?
