As much as I hated the old probation excuse while we were beating them. But this is Alabama, and I am hoping for SMU 2.0. Very unlikely I know, but I can dream.

I could actually see it going the other way, and Alabama being made a bit of an example and sacrificial lamb. Anything's possible. I am just glad Tennessee isn't in their shoes.

How many secondary infractions will equal a major infraction?

I have the answer.

Tennessee is up to 3 now.

I don't think anyone (of intelligence) thinks UT is perfect or saintly. But the sort of violations we are having and the ones Alabama is getting called to the carpet for are apples and oranges. Hmm, funny how the color scheme of that fruit comparison matches up.

This is my favorite part though- The 2002 Means case involved violations so serious that one NCAA official said Alabama was "staring down the barrel" of the death penalty in 2002

Tennessee reports third recruiting violation - NCAA Football - SI.com

Speaking of violations. Tennessee isn't the perfect college you think it is.

Pssssttt....dummy...ALL teams commit those minor violations...We just got extra attention because of our new coach is all..Hell South Carolina had like 11 or 12 of them...Why don't we dig into Bama's violations this past recruiting season shall we?...You want the honors?...Want to come clean?...Or continue to get your tail handed to you here?....Do it...Be a man for once in your life.
