The loss is gonna fire the home team up and you can bet 7 turnovers won't happen against the gumps. Nobody will give us a chance this week, but I've learned not to underestimate this team. Hopefully DK and Hurd will be back too, although Kamara and Kelly did pretty dang good.

We played them extremely tough last year. I don't expect much different this year. Expect we are more explosive on offense at this point in the season.

Here we go again! Another opportunity to shine before a national audience that will be pulling for the underdog. Who doesn't hate bama!

I'm sure we will hear a lot of repeat stories form last week, difference in talent level, TN cant start slow, TN has too many injuries, etc. but TN will go in focused and ready (and not turn the ball over 7 times)and it will be a good close game that they pull out in the end.

Personally I feel that we took on the best team in west at their home in double overtime. This is not Bama's year. We will beat Bama and they will drop another to A&M the following week and we will play A&M again.

We could really use Hurd back against Bama, although get we did not miss him at A&M. He is a great back and great Vol, don't misunderstand me. However, I bet Kirkland comes back and playing at home after 2 weeks on the road is really good for us.

I've learned one 1 thing, never count this team out no matter how bad the outlook.

Vols win another nail biter late. 24-20 Kamara has his best game with about 300 all purpose yards and Dobbs looks like Peyton Maning.

I like Hurd but give me Kamara and Kelly

Just like Florida, until we beat them a lot of people won't think we can do it
Last year we showed we can hang with them and had a late lead until a tired defense went into the "red carpet" and we lost. This year if we have a couple breaks go out way, we can and will win this game -- injuries or not

I'm tired of hearing people say we have no chance. "Odds against us" due to injuries but this team ALWAYS has a chance

Never bet on a rivalry game. Hell, never bet on *any* game when your own team is involved, but as a general rule, never bet on a rivalry game. Anything can happen. Anything *will* happen.

Records go out the window on the third Saturday in October.

Last time Bama lost, they opened as a 8 point favorite vs Ole Miss in 2015.

History shall repeat itself.

the history is that alabama is 9-0 against tennessee the last 9 meetings and have beaten tennessee by 20 points,31 points,31 points, and 14 points the last 4 times in knoxville.

Conveniently only mention the Neyland games to leave out the fact that they only beat us by 5 last year in Tuscaloosa. Still salty from that 21 point beat down? Thought so.
